Is Two Coats Of Polyurethane Enough On Hardwood Floors

I ve noticed everyone recommends 3 coats of polyurethane i m using polo plaz semi gloss on a newly sanded floor.

Is two coats of polyurethane enough on hardwood floors.

If you are using oil based poly it is ok to use one or two coats. Double poly and one lacquer sealer are recommended for a safe and smooth finishing. I ve already put on a coat of sealer and two coats of poly. I notice that my floor isn t quite as smooth feeling as i d like but it looks awesome.
